Next Regular Meeting
Saturday, October 14, 2017 9:30 - 11:30 AM.
Climate Lobby's main goal is to engage all sorts of people in seeking
solutions to the global threat of climate change. As CCL looks to build
relationships across race and culture, our October guest is Barbara
Love, Professor Emeritus of Social Justice Education at the University
of Massachusetts-Amherst. She taught graduate classes on the foundations
of social justice education, design development and facilitation
skills. That understanding will have paramount value in bringing
awareness to our community of the need for rebalancing the costs and
benefits of greenhouse-gas emissions.
Tucson's CCL chapter's meeting place:
Room 8403 at Banner/UMC Hospital at 1501 N Campbell Ave.
Park in the main parking lot and bring your ticket for validation.
Enter the hospital through the front door, and take the main elevators
to the 8th floor. Exit the elevators to the west (away from the clinic),
turn left and go through the double doors to Rm 8403.
We meet the second Saturday of each month, same place, 9:30 - 11:30 AM.
